Why am I so lazy about photographing my knitting...I should really do a better job.
I started two small projects in two days...and finished them both within two days of starting them. the knitting bit anyway...
I call this "Provincial"...a completely ordinary shawlette with a touch of class...the fiber is 80 percent wool 20 cashmere....it's hidden in there, but the sophistication is evident when you touch it. The yarn was left over from a sweater vest I made for my husband...which I never photographed...hence...the above statement.
This is made from my home spun and looks horrible in the photo, but is actually quite lovely. I don't have a name for it yet...the design rather....perhaps when I finish the embroidery and put a button or flower or something on it. It's a 3/4 sleeve cardi made for my daughter, with my own 100% merino hand spun, hand dyed yarn. An experiment of sorts that I think turned out rather nicely (although once again, you can't tell from the photo)
Happy Friday.

Photos never do clothes justice...maybe next time you could model it :) It looks nice though, I can imagine it on, and soft? And with a flower on? Lovely!
The colour on the cardie is great. Definitely an experiment gone right.
