Garlic about the eyes....

28 years ago today, I slipped from my mother's womb and joined the legions of other earth wanderers. To celebrate this anniversary my husband bought me a pasta machine... Thus, I have commenced in churning out bucketloads of fresh noodles... And although I haven't quite mastered the pasta dough recipe yet (more salt I think) the noodles are definitely holding their shapes well.

Other than pasta, my birthday was fairly uneventful. We spent most of the day working on house design elements but did take time out to go to itantoko for dinner and pick up a cake at the local bakery even after we had filled ourselves to capacity with chicken skewers. I fell asleep shortly after we returned home and finished happy birthday-ing. Nana, as always, though it was HER birthday and absolutely couldn't resist putting her hands in the cake while I wasn't looking. That is about all I reckon... Happy Monday.

Happy Birthday!

And wow. You are a quick learner. I've had my pasta machine two months now and nowhere near picture worthy pasta!
